NS Geode Series SubCompact Board with LCD, LVDS, Ethernet, TV-Out & Audio

Introduction

Runing on NS Geode series Low Power CPUs, the GENE-4310 is ideal for demanding multimedia abd networking application. Due to the compact size, this SBC offers several impressive industrial features. First, this powerful solution is suitable for mobile applications that require low-hear dissipation. The onboard NS Geode series can be operated in fanless environment. Second, this SubCompact board offers a suppicient memory bank with an onboard 144-pin SODIMM socket allowing for up to 128MB of SDRAM, also that supports a Compact Flash disk Type II.
The AC-97 2.0 Sound Blaster compatible audio complements that VGA display with resolution of up to 124 x 768. At 64K color depth, this SBC is able to display both a CRT and Flat panel simultaneously. It supports non-interlaced CRTs and up to 18-bit TFT LCD displays.
The GENE-4310 is able equipped with 100Base-Tx Fast Ethernetthat provides the means to get straight onto a LAN (Local Area Network), allowing you to avail of its 100MB Fast Ethernet bandwidth.
The GENE-4310T model is an adaptation to the original with two additional functions. The GENE-4310T adds LVDS. Low voltage differential signaling is a low noice, low power, low amplitude method for high-speed (gigabits per second) data transmission over copper wire. In addition, type T also has a RCA Jack for TV-out connection.
The GENE-4310S is also an adaption of the initial design, however the S type only incorporatee the LVDS function.
